Shelley Han, MD

Palliative Care Medical Director

Dr. Han serves as Medical Director of Palliative Care and as a Post-Acute Physician at GeriNet Medical Associates. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine and brings extensive experience caring for patients with complex and serious illnesses.

Prior to joining, Dr. Han served as Medical Director of Palliative Care at Straub Benioff Medical Center and as Section Chief of Palliative Care for Hawaii Pacific Health, where she helped grow palliative care programs across multiple hospitals. She also served as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Hawaii’s John A. Burns School of Medicine, mentoring medical students and teaching geriatric fellows.

Dr. Han completed her Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship at UCLA/West LA VA Medical Center and her Internal Medicine residency at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles. She is passionate about supporting seriously ill patients and providing thoughtful whole person care throughout the aging process.
